On Thursday, we were delighted to welcome Ellie Olds, a nutritionist with our catering company, Holroyd Howe. Ellie leads nutritional development across their schools and is passionate about helping young people build a positive relationship with food.
During her visit, Ellie delivered engaging, age-appropriate workshops to every year group from Reception, each designed to educate, inspire and encourage healthy eating habits. From tasting colourful fruits and vegetables and learning what it means to “eat the rainbow,” to exploring food groups and building a balanced plate. Older pupils discussed how healthy eating supports learning, activity and overall wellbeing and how nutrition fuels performance in both daily life and sport.
Thank you to Holroyd Howe for a fantastic hands‑on workshop and for helping to inspire positive, lifelong food habits in our pupils.
