Our Year 6 rugby team put in a fantastic performance at Solefield School’s annual U11 rugby sevens tournament last Saturday, competing in four matches against Bickley Park, Hawthornes, St Michael’s, and The Mead. With three strong wins and then a narrow defeat to Bickley Park in a thrilling finale, they battled right to the end, just one try away from levelling the match.
A special mention to the team for their remarkable progress over the past few years. Their growth as players and as a team was evident throughout the tournament, as they tackled every challenge with determination and played some outstanding rugby.
