Careers Morning

At Sevenoaks Prep, we believe in equipping pupils with the skills, confidence and determination they need to thrive in life beyond school. Our recent Careers Information Morning was a wonderful opportunity for pupils to start exploring the exciting possibilities that await them.

The day began with an inspiring school assembly led by our guest speaker, Soiya Gecaga, who encouraged everyone to follow their dreams, embrace challenges, persevere and stay flexible in an ever-changing world. Her words set the perfect tone for the morning ahead.

Our senior pupils then joined together for a carousel of engaging talks – exploring careers ranging from event management to product design, retail management and careers within sports. These sessions not only introduced potential career paths but also highlighted the transferable skills and pathways that are essential for success across many fields.

Thank you to the parents who shared their expertise, our pupils really enjoyed hearing your stories. Years 7&8 at The Prep play a vital role in preparing pupils for senior school and beyond, offering opportunities such as Careers Day earlier than they might typically expect. Through experiences like these, we ensure they leave us ready to embrace the next chapter of their lives with curiosity, resilience and ambition.
