What an incredible day at The Prep! Former Wallabies captain and the second most capped Australian player of all time, George Gregan, joined us to inspire and educate our school community.
During an engaging Q&A session he captivated pupils, staff and parents with his incredible stories – from tackling Jonah Lomu at full speed to World Cup memories and insights on what makes a great coach and leader. He also shared life lessons – emphasising the importance of a balanced approach, staying motivated, asking questions and always preparing for life’s next stages.
After the talk, George headed to the pitch to lead coaching sessions with our Years 6 – 8 boys. Each year group spent time with him, learning from his expertise and inspiring them as they kick off their rugby season.
He even took time to sign autographs and memorabilia and give an interview for our school podcast – much to the pupils’ excitement!
Thank you, George, for a truly unforgettable day – we are certain your words and wisdom will resonate far beyond the rugby field.
