south east area hockey finals

We were really proud of our U11 and our U13 hockey teams who have had brilliant seasons.  Both teams ended their season by playing in the South East Area Hockey Finals and played really well.

We had the pleasure of hosting the U13 In2Hockey South East area hockey finals. We were delighted to welcome so many Senior Schools with teams from Roedean School, St George’s Weybridge, Hurstpierpoint College, Claremont School, St John’s School Leatherhead and Kent College Pembury. Our girls represented Kent and rose to the occasion and played some superb hockey, winning their first four games convincingly with some impressive goals and individual performances. However, in a closely contested final match against St John’s School Leatherhead, they unfortunately suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat meaning they missed out on the top spot and a place in the Nationals by just one point. It has been an outstanding season for our U13 girls and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements.

Our U11 A hockey team has had an absolutely amazing season! After coming second in the county, and convincingly beating Granville 4-0, (who came second in Nationals), we went on to compete in the U11 South East Area Finals, where the top two teams
from West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent all played against one another. We were unbeaten on the day and finished in bronze position overall! Well done to our girls. You’ve all grown in skill and ability and have gelled so well as a team. You have really
had a smashing season and we are very proud of you.
