We joined thousands of schools and nurseries and took part in NSPCC Number Day, embracing numbers and mathematics in lots of creative and enjoyable ways!
Across the whole school we participated in ‘Dress up for Digits’ to raise money and support the NSPCC services such as Speak out Stay Safe and Childline. In class, we played lots of number based, practical maths games throughout the day and celebrated our love of numbers! These activities included ‘Buddy’s Key Challenge’, a problem-solving number hunt activity, a class game of ‘Who wants to be a Mathionaire’, number bingo, ‘Addition Hero’, lobster fishing, escape room, chronological game, rapid fire maths questions and an Active Maths game which incorporates teamwork, physical movement, and mental math skills.
We had such a fun day celebrating all things numbers, saw some really amazing digit costumes and raised money for a fantastic charity!
