Dear Parents

It has been a very busy few weeks. The Pre-Prep nativities were fabulous, the Christmas Music Concert put
us all in the festive mood and the Years 7 and 8 production of “Frankenstein” was a performance of great
confidence and maturity. Year 6 enjoyed their trip to Harry Potter World, Pre-Prep went to the pantomime
and Year 8 put on a wonderful exhibition of their art work (which complemented the work they have been
doing in their English lessons). There was also time for a well-attended wreath making evening for
parents. Next week will see Years 7 and 8 going ice-skating, the Carol Concert, House General Knowledge
and the all-important Christmas lunch.

The pupils have all worked so hard this term and it has been a real privilege to see them learning and
growing as individuals each and every day. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for
their ongoing enthusiasm and commitment to making The Prep such a wonderful environment for the
pupils. I would also like to take this moment to thank all of you for your support over the course of the
term and wish you all a peaceful festive period.

Merry Christmas!

Best wishes

Luke Harrison

Dear Parents and Guardians,

What a fantastic couple of Christmassy weeks we have had in Pre-Prep.

Last Friday, I knew Christmas had well and truly begun as I spent the day watching your children perform
their hearts out in their nativity shows. We were dazzled and amazed by their talents and I hope that they
enjoyed performing them as much as we enjoyed watching them.

This week has been Christmas Week! The children have had such fun throughout the week taking part in
cooking, art, music and many other exciting activities.

Wednesday morning was full of festive fun in Nursery when parents, grandparents and friends visited the
Nursery classroom for a morning full of Christmas activities. Mrs Lemmon and Mrs McG had prepared a
fantastic wreath making station and the Nursery team put on a wonderful display of activities for everyone
to join in with.

We had a fantastic trip on Thursday to see Cinderella, the children were so well behaved and really enjoyed
joining in with all of the pantomime fun!

Next week, the excitement continues with class party days on Monday, please sign up for your party food.
Then on Tuesday we have Christmas Jumper Day and in the evening we come together as a whole school for
our Carol Service.

Thank you all for your support in making these events possible and of course, huge thanks to my
tremendous team who really do go above and beyond to make your children’s time at school fun,
memorable and full of joy.

Best wishes,

Helen Cook
