STEAM Day!

It’s STEAM day (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths)!  Pupils in all year groups across the school are researching, planning, designing, building and evaluating their STEAM activities which include rubber band propelled trains, rocket launchers, planets, air balloons and catapaults.  The energy and excitement is everywhere!

We were delighted to welcome David Newey, Deputy Chief Technology Officer of The Royal Marsden Hospital Trust as a key note speaker this morning.  He gave pupils in Years 6, 7 and 8 a fascinating insight into the way digital technology is helping doctors, nurses and patients with diagnosis, treatment and cures.
