Last Friday, Years 3–8 enjoyed our Prep Sports Day, which had been rescheduled from earlier in the month due to the extreme temperatures.
Pupils took to the field full of enthusiasm, competing in a wide range of track and field events, from sprints and hurdles to long jump, high jump, javelin and ball throw. Throughout the day, there was a wonderful sense of encouragement and House spirit, with pupils giving their best efforts and cheering on their teammates every step of the way.
Thank you to all the parents who came along and supported from the sidelines, helping to create such a fantastic atmosphere. A huge well done to every pupil who took part and contributed to a memorable day of sport, teamwork and determination.
Congratulations to Vine House, who were crowned this year’s Sports Day champions! We were also delighted to celebrate the individual achievements of pupils across the school in our End of Term Assembly, with Sports Day awards presented in recognition of their outstanding performances.
Well done to all our competitors for making it such a successful and enjoyable day.
