Our Nursery and Kindergarten Grand Prix and Sports Day was such a special celebration.
This event is designed to give our youngest children a gentle and encouraging introduction to sports events, and they rose to the occasion brilliantly. Whether running, balancing or taking part in team activities, the children showed growing independence, confidence and a real willingness to have a go.
It was particularly lovely to see how supported they felt — both by staff, who know them so well, and by families cheering them on. There was a real sense of pride from the children as they completed each activity.
Experiences like this play an important role in developing not just physical skills, but also self-belief and a positive attitude to learning and cheering on their house teams!
