Outdoor Learning

This half term, the children have been exploring the wonders of our Nature Trail and enjoying all the activities it provides.

Lessons are always action-packed, and this week, Year 5 were enjoying testing their balance on the slackline, even though this proved to be harder than it looked! Meanwhile, our budding engineers embarked on the ambitious task of building the longest golf ball run that we have seen, perfecting the construction so the ball would twist and wind around the course. Our young scientists and nature enthusiasts were eager to get down low and explore the pond habitat.

Connecting with nature is so important for our wellbeing and it is wonderful to see the children having so much fun in the outdoors. Their latest new tradition of rolling down the hill after their lesson has sparked endless laughter and we have been happily joining in the fun too!
