Minibus Driver/Chaperone

An opportunity has arisen to join the Sevenoaks Prep team as a Driver/Chaperone, supporting our pupils with a safe and reliable transport service. We look for caring, friendly and responsible team players who embody our nurturing ethos and Way of Life. The successful candidate will ensure the welfare and comfort of pupils during their journeys, act as a positive ambassador for the school, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism at all times.

Overview

The successful candidate will:

  • Safely transport pupils to and from school along a set route, ensuring their welfare, comfort and appropriate behaviour throughout the journey.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with pupils, parents and colleagues, promoting the positive image of Sevenoaks Prep at all times.
  • Assist pupils when acting as chaperone, helping them on and off the minibus and maintaining accurate daily records.
  • Uphold all relevant driving legislation and school policies, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Promote and act consistently in accordance with the school’s ethos, aims, and Way of Life.
  • Prioritise the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils in every aspect of the role.

Working Hours would be Monday to Friday, 7:00–9:00am and 3:45–5:45pm, term time only.
