Grandparents and Loved Ones Day

We had a truly special Grandparents’ and Loved Ones Day before half term, and it was a joy to see so many familiar faces around the school.

The school was filled with warmth, pride and connection as pupils shared their day with those who play such an important role in their lives. There is something especially meaningful about seeing children in their school environment – learning, performing, spending time with friends and growing in confidence – and moments like these, shared across generations, are the ones that stay with them for years to come.

The assembly was a highlight, featuring confident performances and thoughtful reflections that brought both smiles and a touch of nostalgia, celebrating how school life has evolved while also reminding us of the many things that remain the same.

With thanks to the staff who brought the morning together so thoughtfully, it was a wonderful celebration of community, connection and the relationships that matter most. Thank you to all who were able to join us and help make the day so special.
