Welcome to Nursery at Sevenoaks Prep, where the journey of discovery begins for boys and girls aged two to three.

Nestled within our vibrant and inviting surroundings, our Nursery provides a nurturing environment for young minds to flourish.  From well-resourced rooms to secure outdoor garden areas, children are encouraged to explore, fostering independence and curiosity through play.

Our dedicated and compassionate teachers and practitioners enrich the curriculum, igniting a love for learning by sparking imaginations. Complementing our curriculum are additional experiences such as Mini Movers, CycleMe.Tots, Playball, and Outdoor Adventures, offering a diverse range of opportunities for exploration throughout the week.

With a minimum attendance requirement of three morning sessions, from 8.30am to 12.15pm, each morning concludes with a shared hot and healthy lunch in our school hall.  Here, children are encouraged to make choices, try new foods, and develop independence while sharing experiences with peers and staff.

For those opting for a full day, our wraparound care extends from 7.15am in breakfast club to 6.00pm (subject to spaces available), ensuring a seamless transition between school and home.

At the heart of our Nursery curriculum are the Prime Areas of the Early Years Curriculum: Communication and Language, Personal, Social, and Emotional Development, and Physical Development.  We nurture a growth mindset approach, celebrating achievements and progress, no matter how small, through the Characteristics of Effective Learning.
