Safeguarding Children / Child Protection
The welfare of the child is paramount [The Children Act 1989].
The School is committed to promoting the health and welfare of all pupils and if members of staff see signs which suggest that one of the pupils may have been the victim of abuse, they will (as is required by law) follow the procedures laid down by the Area Child Protection Committee. N.B. Such action in no way infers that any parent/carer or other individual is being accused of wrongdoing. A full version of the School's Safeguarding Children (Child Protection) policy is available to download above.
The school’s designated teachers are: Mr. Nicholas Pears [Junior School] and Miss Davinia Ablett [Senior School].
The School’s designated governor is: Mrs Sally-Anne Huang [Headmistress of Kent College Pembury].
