Website
Some musical instrument lesson timetables can now be found in the secure parents area on the school website.
The exam timetables for Forms 5, 6, 7 and 8 are also available on the website, both in the Children's Pages and Day to Day areas.
Team Photos
These will be taken on Friday 28th May. The boys in the cricket teams who usually play matches in white trousers must remember to bring them for the photograph and all boys must remember to bring their blazers. The girls will need to wear their skorts for the team photographs.
Personal Equipment for Lessons - Forms 5-8
We try to instil good habits in our pupils. We make them aware of their responsibilities with regard to all areas of school life, knowing that internalising these values will help them to have a smooth transitition from Prep School to Senior School. One of these responsibilities is to arrive at each lesson or exam with the correct books and equipment so that the lesson or exam can start on time. Please take some time during the half term break to check your son/daughter's pencil case so that they are completely ready for exam week. Our suggested list is:
Essential:
2 HB pencils (with sharpener), pencil eraser, blue ink pen or biro (plus either a reserve pen or refill), 15 or 30cm ruler, protractor, set square, compasses, scientific calculator (Forms 7 & 8 only), school planner.
Optional (but useful):
Colouring pencils (not felt tips) and highlighter/s
Following exam week, we will be centralising our arrangements for pupils who arrive at lessons without the correct equipment. If there is a need for specific arrangements to support indiviudal pupils, we will make them as necessary.
Thursday 10th June - Dodgems
The dodgems for this year's SEC Summer Ball are arriving at school on Thursday 10th June. The company providing the fairground ride will be assembling it during the day and have offered to open it for two hours at the end of school for the children to take advantage of them on-site. The Pre Prep families will be given priority for the first hour (3.15pm-4.15pm) and then the children in Years 3-8 will have priority from 4.15pm-5.15pm. The cost will be £2 per car ride or £5 for three rides. The dodgems will be organised and supervised by the professional company providing the ride and we suggest that younger children should be accompanied by an adult as the dodgems are adult size.
