11+ Results

We had 18 boys and girls take the exam this year and enjoyed an excellent pass rate.  This is very encouraging and reflects well on the pupils and on their teachers.  It is always disappointing for boys and girls who do not pass any exam but it must be remembered that more and more children are sitting the 11+ in Kent every year and that the exam is designed to select the most able 22% of the 2,000+ pupils in West Kent who took part in the process, i.e. it is deliberately very competitive.  Good luck to all those pupils with other secondary school entry tests to sit in this second half of term.

Bonfire and Fireworks Night – Friday 6th November 6pm

Tickets are available at £7 each from either school office or you may pay at either entrance in the evening.  It would be appreciated if you could have the correct money as we always seem to run short of change.  Thank you.

Parking will be limited so please car share wherever possible.  You will be asked to park on the top fields as the limited amount of parking available in the main car park will be prioritised for disabled, elderly visitors and those with very young children.  Cloakrooms are in the main changing room block – ladies upstairs and gentlemen downstairs.

Christmas Bazaar

Thank you for all the donations received so far.  We would still appreciate donations for the following stalls:

• jolly jam jars
• bottles of any description for the tombola
• contributions for the Secrets Room
• chocolate
• baked goods – these need to be delivered to the Hall from 12 on Friday 20th  November or anytime in the morning of the 21st November.

Pre Prep Christmas Performances

Bearing in mind the logistical problems for car parking and easing the congestion for audiences we are trying a new system of two performances for this year’s Kindergarten Nativity and Pre Prep Christmas Concert.

Thursday 3rd December
10am in the Pre Prep Hall - Kindergarten Nativity for KGH parents
2pm in the School Hall - Pre Prep Christmas concert for RH, RR and IL parents.

Friday 4th December
10am in the Pre Prep Hall - Kindergarten Nativity for KGR parents
2pm in the School Hall - Pre Prep Christmas Concert for IR, 2CT and 2B parents

If your family have siblings involved on both days or your calendar commitments make this arrangement inconvenient, then please contact Mrs Wigley and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
